Poornima Nisha
Poornima Nisha is a writer and emerging sociologist working from within tribal communities, where research, lived realities, and political engagement intersect. Currently pursuing an MA in Rural and Tribal Sociology at Kannur University campus Mananthavady, her work is rooted in field experiences and committed to understanding structures of power, inequality, and resistance. Influenced by intersectional feminist perspectives, she engages with questions of caste, gender, indigeneity, class, and social justice, examining how these systems shape everyday life and access to rights. Through writing and ethnographic engagement, she seeks to document voices from the margins, challenge dominant narratives, and contribute to conversations on dignity, representation and collective transformation
